This valley sits on two state lines, and the rule about safety inspections changes at each one. Maryland requires a safety inspection only when a used vehicle is sold or its title is transferred, not on a schedule. Pennsylvania requires one on every registered vehicle every year. West Virginia moved from annual to every two years in 2024. We are a Maryland state inspection station, so the certificate we issue is the Maryland one, and it is good for 90 days.
